About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team, focusing on budgeting, auditing, accounts receivable/accounts payable management, and the development of business and financial models. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive financial performance and support organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Analyze financial data to forecast future financial trends and prepare budget reports.
  • Collaborate with department heads to align budgets with organizational goals.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through thorough examination of financial records.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Oversee the AR/AP process, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, including collections and disbursements.
  • Implement and maintain efficient AR/AP processes to improve financial operations.
  • Analyze and assess current business models to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement new business models to drive growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate business model strategies.
  • Create detailed financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to assess the financial impact of potential business decisions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial modeling results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar role, with expertise in budgeting, auditing, AR/AP management, and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, SAP, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and standards.

Nice-to-haves
