About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst position at DISH focuses on providing financial insights and support for the retail wireless organization, particularly in the area of Device Subsidy. This role involves budget reporting, KPI analysis, and process improvements, enabling informed business decisions through data transformation and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly executive summaries and consolidate wireless financials
• Build and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecards
• Create and deliver financial metric presentations to upper management with recommendations
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Acquire data from multiple sources to evaluate and interpret trends or patterns
• Assign numerical and financial values to essential business functions to assess and compare performance over time

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or related field
• 5+ years of experience in an accounting/finance environment, preferably in the telecom or consumer subscription industry
• Advanced skills in MS Excel
• Basic knowledge of financial, data, and reporting tools (e.g., Onestream, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake)
• Rational, curious, with outstanding problem-solving and strong analytical skills
• Ability to seek, organize, evaluate, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executives
