About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in the financial planning and analysis function of the organization. This position requires a deep understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting processes. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This includes conducting variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies in financial data. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist in the preparation of the annual budget and long-term financial plans, working closely with department heads to gather necessary information. The position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be involved in special projects and ad-hoc analyses as needed, providing financial insights that drive business performance. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to project future financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in Finance or MBA is preferred.
