About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst conducts quantitative analyses to support strategic and operational decisions related to budgets, expenses, and investment programs. This role involves analyzing financial data, forecasting economic trends, and providing insights to senior leadership to guide financial planning and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.
• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators for senior leadership.
• Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, products, or business units to track progress against financial goals.
• Analyze the financial implications of proposed investments or transactions for senior leadership evaluation.
• Evaluate industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial and competitive position.
• Report current or expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making.
• Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses, and revenues to make recommendations to senior leadership.
• Prepare in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Finance or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial planning software.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-driven with a desire to actively grow and learn.
