About the position

Our client is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This position is crucial due to a staff vacancy and is expected to last through February 28, 2025. The role is hybrid, with a preferred location in San Jose, CA, but candidates from Seattle are also considered. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for owning financial business cases and conducting scenario analysis to support the Channel RTM, ensuring financial rigor when exploring opportunities for the client. This includes advising on business strategy, opportunity sizing, pricing, and setting financial targets. The analyst will support three-year strategic financial planning, collaborating with business owners to build long-term financial models that set the roadmap for the client's continued growth. They will act as the team champion and point of contact for finance-related system implementations, driving financial treatment for new offerings. Additionally, the analyst will ensure that business partners are informed of weekly financial forecasts and are actively addressing risks and opportunities within DME. They will also own bi-weekly OL and quarter-end financial reporting, providing insights into the reasons behind financial performance. Working closely with key business leaders, the Senior Financial Analyst will identify appropriate metrics to track and evaluate business performance and will drive ad-hoc analysis for leadership.
