As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in our team at the Cascades Tissue Group in Pryor, Oklahoma. You will be responsible for ensuring that the accounting for inventory quantities, capital assets, and operating costs is reliable, complete, and accurate. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you rigorously analyze operating cost performance indicators and disseminate appropriate information to support decision-making processes within the plant. In this role, you will identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to the management's efforts in enhancing business processes. You will maintain an effective control structure to minimize business risks inherent in operations and fraud, applying the best administrative and accounting practices tailored to the plant's needs. Additionally, you will supervise financial analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages commitment, evolution, and perseverance among your colleagues. Responsibilities

  • Ensure that accounting for inventory quantities, capital assets and operating costs is reliable, complete, and accurate.
  • Rigorously analyze operating cost performance indicators.
  • Disseminate appropriate information.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Contribute to your plant's decision-making process.
  • Support your sector's management in improving business processes.
  • Maintain an effective control structure to minimize the business risks inherent in operations and fraud.
  • Apply the best administrative and accounting, financial management and sales practices in accordance with your plant's needs.
  • Supervise financial analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 4-5+ years' experience of related professional Managerial Accounting experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office with high proficiency in Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP software or other ERP.

Nice-to-haves

  • Accounting or finance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Leadership and expertise in promoting buy-in to proposed solutions.
