About the position

As a Collision Repair Specialist with Penske, you will be responsible for performing minor truck and trailer collision repairs, and with supervision, some major repairs. This role involves using advanced technology and repair techniques to ensure high-quality restoration of vehicles. Responsibilities

• Perform minor electrical system repairs
• Conduct surface preparation for refinishes
• Repair or replace minor cab accessories
• Execute minor cargo box repairs
• Assist Technician I and II in the removal, replacement, and repair of major components
• Maintain work area appearance and safety
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational/technical school preferred
• Certification of completion of technical school specializing in truck and trailer repair/refinish preferred
• Working knowledge of tools of trade including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools preferred
• Valid driver's license required
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, and regulations established by Penske management
• Ability to perform work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
