About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will act as the primary financial business partner for various departments and business units, focusing on preparing financial materials, conducting variance analysis, and forecasting. This role requires exceptional Excel skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to provide timely and accurate financial reporting, insights, and recommendations aimed at driving profitability growth. The analyst will also participate in special projects and ad-hoc analyses, working closely with management and department leads.

Responsibilities

• Prepares monthly financial results and operational review packages for management
• Monitors performance and provides actionable variance analysis to management
• Works with management to develop budgets and forecasts, including departmental, business unit and consolidated views
• Provides decision support and ad-hoc analysis to management
• Participates in consolidated spend management and review process
• Participates in the overall loading and management of budgets and forecasts with the financial systems

Requirements

• 4 year college degree in Finance / Accounting or related field
• 5+ years finance experience including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
• Superb Excel skills including developing forecast models
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with others

Nice-to-haves

• Master's Degree in Finance or Business Administration
• Previous experience with NetSuite and Hyperion / Oracle EPM
