About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst at Liberated Brands will play a crucial role in forecasting the P&L for the Americas business, particularly focusing on the wholesale channel. This position involves collaborating with various departments to provide critical analytics that support strategic planning and revenue forecasting. The analyst will also be responsible for preparing reports that track financial targets and sales trends, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Sales Planning to develop multidimensional financial forecasts.
  • Update the rolling-18-month forecast to support product development, production, and supply chain activities.
  • Forecast operating expenses using and improving existing models.
  • Analyze margin dilution against forecast and historical results relating to discounting terms, returns, PPV, product and channel mix.
  • Provide individual Account profitability analysis to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Review the orderbook and ATS, providing suggestions to optimize profits and inventory sell-thru.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports, providing regular analytics into sales trends and identifying areas of opportunity and risk.
  • Track progress toward monthly financial targets across the multidimensional business.
  • Partner with IT to enhance Power BI reports to support business needs.
  • Complete additional planning tasks and ad hoc tasks as necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or closely related field.
  • Professional experience in accounting, financial planning & analysis, or related finance field.
  • Strong financial & analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of working cross-functionally to develop innovative solutions using advanced analytics.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI a plus).
  • Knowledge of accounting, financial forecasting, and budgeting principles and practices.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, accurate, thorough, and maintains accurate records.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Full Circle ERP experience a plus.
