About The Position
As a Senior Financial Analyst at Trimble, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Civil Construction Field Systems sector by collaborating closely with the Director of Finance. This hybrid position based in Westminster, CO, requires a dynamic individual who is not only skilled in accounting but also adept at developing complex financial analyses and business models. You will be responsible for providing top-notch accounting and finance support across multiple products, including both on and off machine solutions, innovative subscriptions, and partnerships with joint ventures. In this role, you will ensure accurate and complete financial reporting by providing general accounting, audit, and compliance support. A strong working knowledge of journal entries and SOX controls is essential, as is the ability to adapt to ever-changing requirements and exceptions. You will assist in the forecasting and performance reporting process for both short-term and long-range planning cycles, working closely with the division controller and leadership to provide meaningful variance analysis. Your responsibilities will also include developing automated reporting and data visualizations, creating dashboards, and conducting insightful analyses to enhance efficiency and improve decision-making quality and speed. Through in-depth analytical investigations, you will provide insights into underlying business trends and drivers, collaborating with business partners to drive corrective actions and forecast future results. Producing meaningful variance analysis that tells the underlying story of the business will be a key aspect of your role.
