About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team, responsible for conducting complex financial analyses and providing management with periodic reports and ad hoc analysis. This position involves strategic planning, profitability reporting, and supporting the annual budget process, forecasts, and operations reporting. The analyst will also engage in project planning and implementation, contributing to financial performance improvements and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct complex and interpretive financial analyses.
  • Provide periodic reports and ad hoc analysis for management.
  • Assist in the annual budget process and forecasts.
  • Oversee financial report development and enhancements in Adaptive Insights.
  • Consult with team members to analyze opportunities for improving financial performance.
  • Engage in project planning and implementation.
  • Prepare monthly financials and financial close packages.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Develop and deliver analytical reporting in Adaptive Insights and MS Excel.
  • Participate in process improvement and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics, or Math.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a related field required.
  • Working knowledge of finance and accounting processes and principles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial statement analysis including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Experience in relational database management and report writing.
  • Knowledge of Workday ERP accounting software and Adaptive Insights is a plus.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and written skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with good project management skills.
  • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA preferred, CPA or other professional qualification is a plus.
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of financial modeling.
