About the position

The Senior Finance Analyst at JLL plays a crucial role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes, providing valuable insights to drive business growth and profitability. This position involves detailed forecast analysis, budget planning, and ensuring compliance with financial standards while supporting the team in developing efficient reporting strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed forecast analysis including Budget vs. Actual and Forecast vs. Actual spending.
  • Prepare and develop the Annual Budget planning.
  • Assist budget owners in identifying budget corrections needed in the client PO system (Coupa).
  • Report on forecast accuracy.
  • Review Corrigo WOs for proper financial coding.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports (TM1).
  • Validate proper invoice coding and propose reclasses as needed.
  • Support the development of efficient reporting strategies including automation and simplification of reporting processes.
  • Maintain knowledge of Master Services Agreement (MSA) and relevant amendments.
  • Track client billing activities vs. client budget.
  • Oversee accounts receivable objectives and metrics, maintaining research on AR over 30 days past due.
  • Assist with the calculation of fees (Management, At-Risk, and Incentive).
  • Maintain and enhance reporting processes.
  • Participate in developing best practices, process documentation, and user support materials for reporting.
  • Organize and maintain team data collection, reporting, and communication.
  • Analyze performance data to forecast/trend.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external auditors.
  • Perform any other duties and tasks assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required.
  • Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications; experience with JD Edwards platforms is a plus.
  • Demonstrated financial competency at a detailed operational level.
  • Ability to collaborate across many levels.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy with effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization, analytical, and coordination skills.
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
