About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst position at Milliken & Company is a key role within the Chemical Division's Coating Additives business unit. This position is responsible for financial ownership of a significant global business, providing strategic financial insights and analysis to support growth and profitability. The analyst will work closely with the leadership team, ensuring compliance with company policies while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Financial ownership of a $100M+ global business
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Vice President and leadership team
  • Support the delivery of year-over-year top-line and bottom-line growth
  • Support return on investment for key growth investments
  • Conduct financial planning and analysis to identify opportunities for revenue and earnings growth
  • Manage portfolio through contract and pricing analysis, investment analysis, and resource allocation
  • Forecast business financial performance through Integrated Business Planning
  • Build finance organization capability to drive performance and decision support
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to drive growth and profitability
  • Inspire associates to focus on strategies and achieve goals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Act with integrity and strong business ethics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Experience using data query tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud & Power BI
  • Integrated Business Planning experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred - specifically SAP S/4 and IBP
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience
