About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) role at US Tech Solutions provides essential financial support and analysis for the Technology & Digital (T&D) project teams. The SFA is responsible for managing the financial aspects of complex projects, ensuring they are completed within budgetary constraints, and proactively addressing any variances. This position involves maintaining budget tracking tools, tracking invoices, managing fee structures, and forecasting potential financial outcomes. The SFA will collaborate closely with project teams and internal stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information and reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day financial support and analysis for client and Digital (T&D) on the Project Finance team.
  • Manage the financial aspects of highly complex projects and monitor project expenditures.
  • Maintain budget tracking tools and track invoices and billings.
  • Develop monthly forecasts and provide other day-to-day financial support.
  • Prepare weekly and month-end financial reports and ad hoc analyses for projects.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements to streamline processes and outputs.
  • Prepare journal entries for accruals, re-classes, and amortizations.
  • Partner with project managers to provide detailed analysis estimates and forecasts.
  • Clearly articulate project variances to forecast and outline causes of change.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, team members, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide training to fellow analysts and share expertise and best practices.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and project management.
  • Strong technical acumen with experience in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and Business Objects Analysis.
  • Ability to simplify complex issues and engage the audience through storytelling.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities and provides solutions.
