Responsibilities

  • Develop labor forecasting models to optimize workforce planning, budgeting, and cost efficiency.
  • Analyze trends in headcount, wages, and productivity to identify cost-saving opportunities and operational improvements.
  • Support annual labor budgeting, track key KPIs, and provide financial insights for hiring, contracts, and automation decisions.
  • Design real-time labor reporting dashboards and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in partnership with accounting.
  • Contribute to company-wide financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making through financial modeling and profitability assessments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in FP&A.
  • Experience in budgeting and long-term financial planning.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis techniques, including advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across cross-functional teams, building strong relationships.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear frameworks and leverage data to drive strategic objectives and priorities.
  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach and actively collaborate closely with team members to drive results.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep expertise in labor analysis and workforce trends.
  • Familiarity with Vena financial planning software and Omni, or experience with similar financial and data visualization tools, including cube-based planning software.
  • Previous cannabis experience.
