About the position

AgReserves, Inc. is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their corporate FP&A team. This role focuses on providing financial planning and analysis to support organizational goals and growth by measuring and forecasting future business performance. The analyst will be responsible for analyzing economic conditions, internal financial information, and creating financial models to assess the impact of various financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and research external economic conditions and their impact on business operations.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings.
• Prepare forecasts and analysis of trends in production, finance, and general business conditions.
• Analyze internal financial information such as profit loss accounts and financial statements.
• Create, interpret, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports ensuring accuracy.
• Develop and prepare financial plans and budgets.
• Maintain good corporate relations with the investment and banking communities.
• Create financial models to measure and forecast potential impacts of financial transactions and corporate development activities.
• Prepare, coordinate, and document financial analysis projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience as a professional financial analyst or auditor.
• Strong financial acumen in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow analysis.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft tools, especially advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Lawson/Infor is a plus.
