About the position
The Senior Financial and Business Analyst for the Automotive Systems Division (ASD) at Bose plays a crucial role in delivering insightful financial analysis and reporting to support sound business decision-making. This position involves collaborating with leaders across the organization to drive sustainable growth through data-driven decisions, while also participating in the development of financial forecasts and performance analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
- Analyze ASD's performance and participate in developing short-term and multi-year financial forecasts.
- Support the month-end close process, review P&L statements, and address inquiries from senior management.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing sales forecasts for trends.
- Assist in preparing financial models and pricing rates.
- Ensure proper setup and transaction of subsidiary transfer pricing in the SAP system.
- Support management with special projects and ad-hoc analyses for operational decision-making.
- Contribute to Lean Six Sigma activities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of financial analysis or related work experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a goal to develop advanced skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Proactive and forward-thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in the automotive industry and SAP.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization technologies such as Qlikview, Tableau, and/or PowerBI.
