About the position

The Senior Financial and Business Analyst for the Automotive Division at Bose plays a crucial role in delivering financial insights and analysis to support sound business decision-making. This position involves collaborating with leaders across the organization to drive sustainable growth through data-driven strategies. The analyst will be responsible for financial forecasting, performance analysis, and reporting, while also engaging in special projects and ad-hoc analyses to aid operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful financial analysis, reporting, and support for business decision processes.
• Analyze Automotive Systems Division's performance and participate in financial forecasting.
• Support month-end close processes, review P&L statements, and address inquiries from senior management.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing sales forecasts for trends.
• Assist in preparing financial models and pricing rates.
• Ensure proper subsidiary transfer pricing setup and transactions in the SAP system.
• Support management with special projects and ad-hoc analyses.
• Engage in Lean Six Sigma activities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of financial analysis or related work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
• Ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels with strong communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a goal to develop advanced skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proactive and forward-thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience in the automotive industry and SAP is a plus.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Qlikview, Tableau, and/or PowerBI is a plus.
