About the position

The Senior Financial Crime Risk Analyst role at TD Bank focuses on the development and maintenance of the bank's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABAC) programs. This position is responsible for conducting risk assessments of new business initiatives and emerging risks, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures, and supporting management in various risk-related initiatives. The role requires a high level of expertise in financial crime risk management and involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders to enhance the bank's risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake and initial financial crime risk assessments of new or changing initiatives.
  • Track FCRM review of initiatives through SharePoint and maintain the SharePoint site.
  • Develop technical and/or automated solutions for oversight of initiatives including tracking, reviewing, and communications.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation for initiatives and communications.
  • Provide accurate reporting on the status of initiatives to various audiences including senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Support ongoing remediation efforts and other ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Experience in financial crime risk management or a related field, particularly related to new business products and services.
  • Knowledge of AML typologies and AML regulations, including BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with SharePoint and other AML software and tools for data analysis.
