About the position

The Senior Financial Engineering Product Management Analyst role at Genesis10 involves working within a technology team focused on financial engineering. This position is responsible for managing financial forecasting processes, monitoring system executions, validating requirements, and performing analyses to support various stakeholders. The role requires a blend of finance and technology expertise, with a strong emphasis on operational excellence and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the Forecasting Process and Executions
  • Serve as the main liaison between users and the product/development teams to design and manage financial forecasting executions in Production and UAT environments
  • Work directly with users and manage the pipeline of execution requests to support DFAST, Capital Forecasting, and Annual Business Plan processes
  • Gather and manage the necessary inputs for forecasting executions
  • Execute technical processes for forecasting and provide timely status updates to users
  • Monitor System's Execution in Production
  • Use automated tools to detect problems in the operational environment for mission-critical processes
  • Provide production support during evening and weekend shifts as needed
  • Proactively communicate with technology and business to resolve operational problems
  • Implement automation requirements and other technical enhancements
  • Gather and communicate patterns/trends in application performance to key stakeholders
  • Validate output generated by applications using various tools
  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve the quality of systems and processes
  • Assist in the development process for minor enhancements and updates to surveillance applications
  • Perform designed or ad-hoc analysis to support various stakeholders
  • Clearly craft and articulate messages related to Finance and Technology to a variety of audiences
  • Design ways to automate tasks using Python or other programming languages.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of work experience
  • 4+ years of experience with analytical tools: SQL, Python, Excel, and similar
  • Proven ability to perform analytical tasks
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Ability to work on weekends and evenings for one week a month (on-call)
  • Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications or tasks
  • MS in Data Analytics, Finance, Computer Science, or similar technical field

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience with programming languages: Java, Python, or similar
