The Senior Financial Manager will play a crucial role within the Strategic Finance team at Bristol Myers Squibb, focusing on the Long Term Financial Planning (LTFP) process. This position is designed for a highly skilled individual who will lead the maintenance and enhancement of the financial models used by the group, ensuring that all data inputs are consistent and reliable. The role requires collaboration across a broad cross-functional finance team, and the successful candidate will assist in the financial analysis and preparation of presentation materials for senior leadership. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Finance. In this role, the Senior Financial Manager will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the suite of Strategic Finance LTPF models, ensuring connectivity between models for data consistency. The candidate will propose, develop, and implement improvements to enhance the group's analytical capabilities. Additionally, the manager will partner with the cross-functional finance team to coordinate data flow and ensure alignment of all data inputs. A key responsibility will be leading the consolidation of Total Company financials in preparation for reviews by senior leadership and the Board of Directors, which includes performing integrity checks on LTFP data sets. The Senior Financial Manager will also assist in creating and preparing presentation materials and messaging for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors. This includes providing in-depth analysis of LTFP financials, such as Sales and P&L variances, business unit breakdowns, and variances to budget. The role will involve assisting with the overall Strategic Plan and LTFP timeline, ensuring key process steps are met, and partnering with key stakeholders to disseminate LTFP outputs for enterprise alignment and downstream processes. Furthermore, the manager will provide ad hoc and dynamic analysis and updates to LTFP based on significant internal and external events, and aid the CFP&A organization in developing annual business unit budget targets.
