The professional will influence departmental strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components, working with considerable autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze market data to forecast financial outcomes.
• Complete financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting including membership, premium, medical expenses, and administrative expenses.
• Perform analysis on expenses related to budget vs actual, budget vs forecast, and forecast vs prior forecast, including variance explanations.
• Conduct month-end close activities and ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to optimize revenue and mitigate medical expenses.
• Influence department strategy and make decisions on complex issues regarding project components.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5 or more years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications and multi-dimensional databases.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytic skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.
