About the position

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Systems Analyst to oversee and manage our HFM, FDMEE, and EPBCS applications for one of our logistics clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining financial systems, with a focus on Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), FDMEE, and EPBCS. This role involves providing technical leadership, operational support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient functioning of our financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems and a deep understanding of the Oracle Hyperion suite of products, particularly in the areas of financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes. In this position, the Senior Financial Systems Analyst will play a critical role in enhancing the functionality of our financial systems, ensuring that they meet the evolving needs of the organization. The analyst will work closely with finance and accounting teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes that improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be expected to stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial systems management, contributing to the continuous improvement of our financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage HFM, FDMEE, and EPBCS applications for logistics clients.
• Design, develop, and maintain financial systems with a focus on Oracle Hyperion products.
• Provide technical leadership and operational support for financial systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient functioning of financial systems.
• Gather requirements from finance and accounting teams to design and implement solutions.
• Enhance the functionality of financial systems to meet organizational needs.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in financial systems management.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of development experience with Oracle Hyperion suite of products, especially HFM, FDMEE, and EPBCS.
• Experience with Oracle EPM and Cloud EPM solutions.
• Strong experience in designing workflow and metadata management in HFM.
• Experience in both on-premise and cloud Hyperion applications.
• Expertise in metadata management, rules, ICPs, and VB scripting.
• Strong understanding of techno-functional areas and concepts of TB, GL, P&L statements, and Balance Sheets.
• Strong understanding of financial consolidation, close, and reporting processes.
• Financial, Accounting, or logistics industry background.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or Oracle certifications).
