About the position

The Senior Firmware Engineer will play a crucial role in designing and developing firmware for a variety of applications, including aircraft avionics, automotive systems, and smart home devices. This position offers the opportunity to lead projects from inception to completion, collaborating with a skilled team and integrating Bluetooth technology into innovative products.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop firmware for diverse applications including avionics and automotive systems.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to focus on new product development and maintain legacy firmware.
• Develop embedded software or firmware in C, FastRTOS, and ARM processors.
• Address challenges related to size constraints, low-power designs, and high-volume products.
• Create software for automated engineering test fixtures and mobile applications.
• Lead projects and expand responsibilities in new areas.
• Integrate Bluetooth technology into products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Senior level experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in C programming language.
• Experience with microcontrollers and/or microprocessors.
• Ability to multitask and create efficient, high-performance embedded systems.
• Experience with Bluetooth (BLE) or CAN protocols.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Background in very low power system experience.
• Expertise in interfacing with advanced sensors and optimizing signal-processing pathways.
• Skilled in debugging embedded systems using hardware and software tools.
• Experience with configuration management tools and defect tracking systems like GIT and Jira.
