About the position

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a crucial role in the finance team of an apparel and fashion brand, working in a hybrid environment. This position involves collaboration with finance and business teams to develop expense forecasts, manage seasonal budgets, and prepare financial reports for senior management. The analyst will be responsible for enhancing KPI management and providing financial guidance to business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting and monthly financial forecasting processes
• Create forecasting models for sales and profitability
• Craft executive-level presentations for management
• Enhance Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management to ensure alignment with business targets
• Monitor and report monthly actual results compared to the established plan
• Develop seasonal profit and loss forecasts
• Assess variances between projected and actual outcomes and identify areas for improvement
• Provide financial guidance to business leaders in designing financial solutions that facilitate the monitoring of risks and opportunities
• Independently handle ad hoc reporting and analysis tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in finance analyst roles
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Demonstrated capability to work both independently and cross functionally with other business units
• Advanced expertise in Excel
• Previous involvement in any product/inventory environment is required, brand retail/wholesale is preferred
