About the position

Sportradar is the leading global provider of sports betting and sports entertainment products and services, operating at the intersection of sports, media, and betting. As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be a vital part of our international team, responsible for supporting Global revenues and the Global Commercial organization with financial planning, analysis, and reporting requirements. Your role will involve partnering with Global sales leadership and the Revenue Optimization Office to develop reporting and forecasting processes that align with both short and long-term financial commitments. In this position, you will lead the analysis of over EUR 1 billion in annual revenues across various regions and business units, identifying key drivers of revenue growth and variances from forecasts. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining comprehensive revenue forecasts and budgets for the global organization, incorporating insights from regional teams, market trends, and macroeconomic factors. Your analytical skills will be crucial in improving periodic reporting by identifying automation opportunities and maximizing the use of business intelligence tools. Additionally, you will review existing forecasting approaches and models to identify areas for improvement, collaborate with business leadership, and drive the development of financial business cases for new content acquisitions. Staying informed of market trends and developments will be essential as you work closely with Market Intelligence teams to align market insights with Sportradar's growth plans. You will also ensure a clear understanding of content-related business opportunities and their impact on profitability and cash flow. Continuous improvement of revenue forecasting processes and methodologies will be a key focus, as will supporting long-range revenue planning and providing ad-hoc financial analysis for special projects and executive requests.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis of EUR 1Bn+ annual revenues performance across all regions and business units, identifying key drivers of revenue growth and variances from forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive revenue forecasts and budgets for the global organization, incorporating input from regional teams, market trends, and macroeconomic factors.
  • Improve periodic reporting by identifying potential for automation and maximizing the use of BI tools.
  • Review existing forecasting approach and models to identify potential for improvement in collaboration with business leadership and the Revenue Optimization Office.
  • Drive the development of financial business cases for new content acquisitions as key revenue enabler for the business.
  • Stay informed of market trends and developments and work closely with Market Intelligence teams to understand the market and align it with Sportradar's growth plans.
  • Ensure clear understanding of content-related business opportunities and decisions and their impact on short and long-term profitability and cash flow.
  • Continuously review and enhance revenue forecasting processes, methodologies, and tools to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support long-range revenue planning across the company, understanding Sportradar's competitive advantages and regional market growth.
  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and executive requests by providing ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Pricing or related field preferably in a global or multinational organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
