About the position

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a crucial role within the Gearing Division of Regal Rexnord, focusing on financial planning, reporting, and analysis to support the division's growth. This position involves collaboration with local operations teams and requires a hybrid work schedule with three days in the office each week.

Responsibilities

  • Summarize and present financial results, along with key sales and cost drivers.
  • Lead variance analysis to key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year, etc.) and communicate key assumptions to plant leadership.
  • Provide insightful commentary to Division management at the end of the reporting period.
  • Develop and deploy key operational metrics and analysis to support daily management of the business.
  • Partner with Operations to support make/buy decisions, capital investments, and inventory management.
  • Lead Division level inventory standard costing and margin analysis activities.
  • Assist in building monthly forecasts, strategic plans, and the Annual Operating Plan (budget).
  • Leverage analytical skills to organize and synthesize large amounts of data.
  • Translate data into insights that assist stakeholders in understanding business performance.
  • Gather and analyze information to identify P&L and working capital trends.
  • Communicate potential risks and opportunities vs the plan and recommend action plans.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide support on strategic projects.
  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization to ensure expectations are met.
  • Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required (CPA designation a plus).
  • Minimum of 7 years progressive experience in financial/accounting functions, including cost, in a durable manufacturing industry.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with OneStream, Power BI, Hyperion or other consolidation and reporting tools is required.
  • Demonstrated competency in presenting financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset and an advocate for change.
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
  • Strong work ethic, self-directed and self-motivated.
