About the position

The Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the Corporate Finance Director by managing the company's enterprise data management and financial reporting processes. This position is responsible for overseeing corporate data structures, producing financial reporting packages, and implementing process improvements to enhance FP&A operations.

Responsibilities

  • Owner of corporate data structures and metadata governance processes for the Chart of Accounts and other data dimensions used in financial systems.
  • Produces key financial reporting packages for quarterly Key Performance Indicators.
  • Conducts ad hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Collaborates with the Business Intelligence team to assist with new insightful reporting.
  • Determines and implements process improvements and opportunities for automation of FP&A processes.
  • Participates in cross-functional company initiatives and systems initiatives that impact the financial management of the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or other related Business discipline.
  • MBA Preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant corporate finance experience.
  • Demonstrated financial/analytical skills gained through formal education or work experience.
  • Knowledge and application of financial modeling principles.
  • Interest in applying best practices in data management and hierarchical structures.
  • Knowledge of BI Tools, Data Visualization Tools, Hyperion Planning, Enterprise Planning and Budgeting, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) & Data Warehousing.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet due dates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
  • SaaS experience a plus.
