About the position

Based in Novi, MI, the Senior FP&A and Treasury Analyst is part of a team that is responsible for providing strategic financial and analytical leadership to drive actionable analysis within the organization. The role will support both the Global FP&A and Global Treasury organizations. This team member will leverage their FP&A and treasury expertise to provide critical insights into financial performance, support strategic decision-making, and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze historical data, forecast future trends, and support decision-making processes while conducting scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes
  • Conduct scenario analyses and sensitivity testing to assess potential impacts on financial outcomes
  • Collaborate with various locations to gather relevant data for budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing variance analysis and explanations to previous outlook or actuals
  • Assist in preparation of weekly cash forecasts, and other financial reporting
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency in financial analysis and reporting
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
  • Evaluate foreign currency risk working closely with global facilities to analyze and assess foreign currency exposures and execute trades to hedge exposures where applicable
  • Support insurance program renewals and allocate charges to business units accordingly
  • Special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Finance and/or Accounting Bachelor's Degree, Masters Preferred
  • 3-5+ years of FP&A and treasury experience Preferred
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics tools
  • Knowledge of financial systems and multidimensional databases preferred (JD Edwards, OneStream, Power BI, etc.)
  • Ability to solve problems, escalate issues and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Tools; PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with Tableau or MS Power BI preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas, results of financial analysis, and actionable recommendations
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Responsibly manages sensitive or confidential information
  • Self-starter and ability to work independently on projects and tasks
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills as well as strong interpersonal skills
