About the position

Texas GovLink, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Developer (GIS) to join their technical services team in Austin. This role involves working within a Scrum Team to develop and enhance front-end applications, focusing on GIS technologies. Responsibilities

• Work as part of a Scrum Team
• Complete user stories, bugs, and technical debt
• Review and modify code for front-end modules and tools
• Design and build new features, functionality, and modules
• Evaluate user requests for new features/functionality and provide necessary technical assistance
• Monitor application performance and recommend/implement efficiency improvements
• Help resolve security risks and vulnerabilities
• Publish, tune, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Server map services

Requirements

• 8 years of experience with JavaScript
• 8 years of experience with TypeScript
• 8 years of experience with HTML5 and CSS
• 8 years of experience with Vue/Vuetify (preferably versions 2 & 3) or similar frameworks
• 8 years of experience with Esri ArcGIS, JavaScript API (versions 3.x and 4.x), ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server
• 8 years of experience with IDEs/tools (Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ)
• 8 years of experience with version control systems (Azure DevOps, GIT)

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Azure DevOps (project management, user stories/bugs/test cases, etc.)
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Ecosystem (Core, MVC, Boot, and Batch) with Maven as build tool
• Knowledge of ORM (Hibernate, Ibatis/Mybatis)
• Experience with web application servers like Tomcat
• Monitoring experience (AppDynamics, ArcGIS Monitor)
• Knowledge of Oracle Spatial (dynamic segmentation, LRS)
• Experience with Esri APIs (ArcGIS API for Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS Rest API)
• Familiarity with FME
• Experience with Angular JS, Angular 17+
