As a Senior Front End Developer at Western Union, you will play a pivotal role in building the next generation of user experiences for our consumer applications. This position involves working as part of a cross-functional team dedicated to developing Digital Banking applications that facilitate the movement between FIAT and cryptocurrencies. You will lead the forward development of the out systems-based front end for crypto features, ensuring a seamless digital experience for users globally. Your collaboration with product management, design teams, and other stakeholders will be crucial in shaping the international release roadmap for a diverse array of user experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for developing features and enhancements to the Loyalty Platform and its offerings, ensuring that all work is conducted in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner. You will design code that adheres to our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices, particularly in a high-scale web environment. Additionally, you will tackle technical problems of significant scope and complexity, addressing prioritized issues from the issue tracker. Your collaboration with product management and other stakeholders, including Backend and UX teams, will be essential for the successful implementation of new features within the Loyalty Platform. Maintaining high internal standards through code reviews will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will providing mentorship to Junior and Intermediate Engineers. While telecommuting may be permitted for up to two days per week, you will be expected to report to our Austin office when not working remotely. The salary range for this position is between $108,826 and $150,250 per year, reflecting the importance of this role within our organization.
