Our technology teams collaborate with their worldwide colleagues and partners every day to take on the challenges of providing IT support to one of the world's leading financial services firms. We're people who believe that with the right values and hard work, anything is possible. We know that if we're at our best, that enables our customers to be their best and realize their dreams and hoped-for successes. The Information Technology group provides enterprise-wide IT solutions for all of Global Warranty front-end applications. As an influencer at AIG, people come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise. As a more experienced team member, you are capable of driving continual improvement and impacting the way that things get done. Because of your influence, whether direct or indirect, we are able to deliver powerful outcomes for our clients. You will interpret established requirements management methodology/tools to identify, verify, and document business, functional, and technical requirements to support development. You will also plan and oversee the successful roll-out of front-end changes to the production environment, provide oversight to major incident and/or problem resolution, and perform incident analysis to identify service problems and develop plans to address them. Understanding the infrastructure by analyzing the current system environment and infrastructure using technical tools and utilities is also a key part of this role. You will work with development workstreams to ensure that modified infrastructure modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed to meet performance requirements of the project. Additionally, you will own, create, and manage the reference architecture, associated artifacts, and design principles for the information and middleware layer, ensuring that key data entities are mapped, visualized, and understood. You will determine, monitor, and communicate performance levels/metrics for each supplier, and perform testing, debugging, and application documentation.
