This role is pivotal in building exceptional user experiences using AngularJS, and the ideal candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of modern technologies and best practices to empower end-users in navigating large data sets effectively. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with product owners to define user stories, ensuring that the development process aligns with user needs and business objectives. You will engage in constructive design discussions, contributing to the delivery of maintainable and practical solutions that enhance the overall user experience. In this role, you will also be tasked with making informed recommendations on how to evolve the existing code base, ensuring that it remains robust and scalable. Accurately estimating development efforts will be crucial, as will developing and testing new features to meet user requirements. You will play a key role in identifying and squashing bugs, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience. Additionally, participating in peer code reviews will be an essential part of your responsibilities, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the team. As a mentor to junior developers, you will share your knowledge and expertise, helping to cultivate the next generation of talent within the organization. This position is remote-first, allowing for flexibility in your work environment. However, candidates must be located within a two-hour radius of Toronto, Canada, as there will be an expectation to be onsite 1-2 days per month.
