Horizontal Talent is seeking a Senior Front End Developer with a strong background in React Native to join a collaborative team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This hybrid role is part of the Client Digital & Technology department, which focuses on enhancing the OmniChannel selling and delivery process. The team is responsible for managing in-store infrastructure, order management, and providing various digital support services. As a Senior Front End Developer, you will leverage your creative and innovation-driven mindset to articulate engineering design strategies that prioritize scale, performance, security, and usability. You will also guide and pair program with junior engineers throughout the development process, advocating for clean code and best practices through pull requests (PRs). Your role will involve utilizing modern web development tools and technologies to help customers find the best support, whether through in-person chats or video consultations with experts. In this position, you will be expected to draw on your extensive experience in software engineering, particularly with JavaScript, React, and Node, as well as your iOS/Android development skills. You should have a proven track record of working on large projects and codebases, with at least 4 years of experience specifically with React Native and Expo. Strong technical communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with business partners and other engineering teams. Familiarity with modern testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, and React Testing Library, along with exposure to Cloud Infrastructure like AWS, will be critical to your success in this role.
