About the position

The role involves providing IT support for AIG's Global Warranty front-end applications, focusing on driving continual improvement and delivering powerful outcomes for clients. The position requires collaboration with worldwide colleagues to interpret and document business, functional, and technical requirements, oversee production roll-outs, and manage incident resolution. The candidate will also be responsible for performance monitoring, testing, and debugging applications, while ensuring that infrastructure modifications meet project performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Interprets established requirements management methodology/tools to identify, verify, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
• Plans and oversees the successful roll-out of front-end changes to the production environment.
• Provides oversight to major incident and/or problem resolution.
• Performs incident analysis to identify service problems and develops plans to address them.
• Analyzes the current system environment and infrastructure using technical tools and utilities.
• Works with development workstreams to ensure modified infrastructure interacts appropriately and data conversion impacts are considered.
• Owns, creates, and manages the reference architecture and associated artifacts for the information and middleware layer.
• Determines, monitors, and communicates performance levels/metrics for each supplier.
• Performs testing, debugging, and application documentation.

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant experience in IT support or application management.
• Basic understanding of business/technology area and operating environment.
• Developing and refining advanced application management skills.
• Front-end development experience using ReactJS, Microsoft Services, JIRA, GitHub, and TFS.
• Experience in HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience or awareness of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in application documentation and testing methodologies.
