About the position

The Senior Front-End Web Developer at Continental will serve as the technical lead for the development of web applications and components for the National Account Retailer and Fleet Program. This role involves designing, creating, and testing Angular applications while collaborating with various teams across the globe. The developer will also be responsible for ensuring high-quality code through testing and debugging, as well as providing production support post-rollout.

Responsibilities

• Support the further development of Continental Tire's National Account Retailer and Fleet Program.
• Design, create, and test Angular web applications and components.
• Collaborate with SCRUM teams, solutions architects, Java backend development teams, and data engineers across Americas, Europe, and Asia.
• Develop UI applications/functionality based on business requirements.
• Facilitate a productive and collaborative work environment.
• Analyze user requirements and business objectives to determine application features and functionality.
• Collaborate with back-end team members for the development of RESTful APIs.
• Provide production support for the global web application post roll-out.
• Compile technical documentation and user assistance material.
• Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies to organize and plan projects.
• Ensure continuous professional self-development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 7+ years relevant experience OR 14+ years with no degree.
• Minimum 5 years' experience working with JavaScript and related testing frameworks.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Angular 2+ Framework.
• Fundamental knowledge of UX/UI.
• Experience with web service integration (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML).
• Ability to communicate effectively with software development team members and business partners.
• Exposure to BDD (Behavior Driven Development) / Test Driven development paradigms.
• Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
