About the position

The Senior Frontend Developer at Broadcom is responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly interfaces for Mainframe software products. This role involves collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to design, code, and test innovative applications, while contributing to the strategic roadmap of the UI and UX strategy. The position requires a strong understanding of frontend technologies and a passion for user experience, with a focus on modernizing enterprise software products.

Responsibilities

• Produce deliverables for use in all products in the Mainframe division teams.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and design innovative applications.
• Build user interfaces and experiences using the in-house component library.
• Provide thought leadership on the evolution of digital procurement tools through design.
• Analyze, debug, and assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments.
• Support and contribute to end of iteration demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Frontend Development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and React.
• Understanding of MVC and MVVM architectural patterns in front-end architectures.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with GraphQL and Node.js.
