About the position

The Senior Frontend Developer at SimplyAnalytics will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of a cutting-edge analytics and data visualization application. This position involves working on both in-house tools and customer-facing features, contributing to the overall direction of the product while ensuring high-quality code and user experience. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test features, both in-house and customer-facing
• Write modern high-quality, clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Contribute ideas for new features or improvements to existing features
• Assist colleagues through code-review, collaboration, and troubleshooting

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software development experience on large, structured code bases using vanilla JavaScript
• Strong UI development skills (CSS & HTML)
• Open to learning new technologies
• Self-starter who gets things done
• Attention to detail

Nice-to-haves

• Experience implementing data tables, charts, graphs, or other data visualizations
• Experience working on complex analytics, data visualization, or mapping applications
• D3.js experience
• MapLibre GL JS or Mapbox GL JS experience
• Experience with geospatial, demographic, business, marketing, or health data
• Experience with TypeScript
• Comfortable using Linux CLI
