About the position

The Senior Frontend Developer at Broadcom is responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly interfaces for Mainframe products. This role involves collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to design, code, and test innovative applications, while contributing to the strategic roadmap of the organization. The position requires a strong understanding of frontend technologies and a passion for improving user experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce deliverables for use in all products in the Mainframe division teams.
• Work collaboratively with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand requirements, design, code, and test innovative applications.
• Build user interfaces and experiences with the in-house component library used by all Broadcom's Mainframe software products.
• Provide thought leadership and storytelling around the evolution of digital procurement tools through design.
• Analyze, debug, and assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments.
• Support and contribute to end of iteration demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience or Master's degree and 3+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Frontend Development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and React.
• Knowledge of MVC, MVVM architectural patterns in front-end architectures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems, debug, troubleshoot, and design solutions to complex technical issues.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js.
• Passion for user experience and improving UI.
