About the position

The Senior Frontend Developer at Broadcom Inc. is responsible for creating engaging and user-friendly interfaces for Mainframe software products. This role involves collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to design, code, and test innovative applications, while contributing to the strategic roadmap of the UI and UX strategy. The position requires a strong understanding of frontend technologies and a passion for improving user experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce deliverables for use in all products in the Mainframe division teams.
• Work collaboratively with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and design innovative applications.
• Build user interfaces and experiences using the in-house component library.
• Provide thought leadership on the evolution of digital procurement tools through design.
• Analyze, debug, and assist in problem-solving in both development and production environments.
• Support and contribute to end of iteration demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or a PhD with no experience.
• Knowledge and experience in Frontend Development technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, and React.
• Understanding of MVC and MVVM architectural patterns in front-end architectures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with GraphQL and Node.js.
• Ability to adapt to changing technology.
