At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We're working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight! This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to Earth's orbit and beyond. Engineered with a reusable first stage and a seven-meter payload fairing, New Glenn is building the road to space. We are pioneering new frontiers, committed to the belief that lowering the cost to space can redefine our future for the better. As a Senior Software Development Engineer for our New Glenn Engineering Data Systems and Architecture (EDSA) team, you will play a pivotal role in making this vision a reality. As a Front-End Developer in the New Glenn EDSA team, you will develop the tools to manage foundational Engineering data for various spaceflight systems. We are collaborative-driven specialists building tools for the people designing, operating, and maintaining our New Glenn vehicle(s). We bring complex data together and make it meaningful information for decisions. You will make contributions to all aspects of this platform and need to be proficient with use of modern Data, Cloud, and Web technologies. Success in this role requires that you work autonomously while staying tightly aligned with the team's goals. This includes proactive communication and a willingness to share your input and viewpoints regularly. We expect modern collaborative software development (clean code, documentation, git, etc.). We need you to take ownership for refining the requirements you are given and delivering the impactful results and solutions needed.
