About the position

The Senior Frontend Software Engineer will be responsible for building web applications that collect, configure, and visualize sports data across various sports. This role involves collaborating with platform engineers and internal operators to enhance live data quality and trading, contributing to a comprehensive system that produces and distributes high-quality, low-latency tracking and video streams for numerous sporting events.

Responsibilities

• Develop web applications that power hybrid automated and operator-led collection systems.
• Contribute across the stack, from web frontend, backend APIs, and databases.
• Maintain best practices for software development, including deployment processes, documentation, and coding standards.
• Discuss and distribute knowledge, technical concepts, and ideas with team members.
• Conduct performance analysis and monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience building web applications.
• Experience with React.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices and tools, distributed systems, and performance tuning.
• Strong appetite for learning and working with technologies used by other engineering teams.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Experience with Three.js, HTML5 Video, and/or Canvas.
• Experience with Rust, C#, or Kotlin.
