Responsibilities

• Design, create, and modify websites
• Convert written, graphic, audio, and video components to compatible web formats
• Analyze Client needs to implement web site content, graphics, performance, and capacity
• Integrate web sites with other applications
• Keep up-to-date on web developments and trends
• Work with project manager or internal team and Clients to meet specification needs
• Recommend process improvement and internal tool upgrades to optimize operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code
• Communicate with Clients or 3rd Parties on Project status
• Create Documentation for new or updated development tasks and procedures
• Perform routine QA checks
• Communicate bugs, problems, or issues that you identify to the team

Requirements

• Previous experience in web development, UX/UI, scaled web development or other related fields
• Prefer at least 3 years of professional experience or extensive portfolio
• Knowledge of HTML, JS, CSS, PHP and other related languages
• Strong grasp of CSS web layout models, such as FlexBox
• Familiarity with Web.Dev best practices
• Strong understanding and experience with WordPress
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong and focused attention to detail
• Experience with Jira / Git / Deployment and Staging Environments

Nice-to-haves

• Typescript
• Good grasp of frameworks such as React, Angular, Ember
• Automotive Industry Experience
• Experience with Speed Optimization
• Custom Plugin Development experience
