About the position

The Senior Full Performance Data Policy Analyst at Booz Allen is responsible for transforming complex data sets into meaningful insights to support national security missions. This client-facing role involves collaborating with clients to understand their data needs, analyzing large data sets, and providing actionable recommendations to enhance intelligence production. The analyst will leverage their expertise in data analytics, visualization, and governance to drive impactful decision-making across multiple organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Use data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, generating cross-functional solutions through data collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis.
  • Contribute to impactful work and guide decision-making across multiple organizations.
  • Apply consulting skills and data analytics expertise to simplify technical requirements and trends based on audience.
  • Present data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using knowledge of databases and scripting languages such as SQL and Python.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to drive technical outcomes.
  • Apply data visualization through different formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
  • Contextualize data to address stakeholder questions.
  • Develop user-friendly visualizations for customers to meet business and mission needs.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain data visualizations using Tableau.
  • Develop interpretive statements and assertions based on analyses and available information.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing data standards or operating data governance efforts within and across IC elements.
  • 3+ years of experience evaluating and monitoring data quality using database tools and data visualization techniques.
  • Knowledge of IC reporting data standards and formats.
  • Knowledge of software tools for data governance and specification such as Collibra.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience developing data standards or interface documentation as implemented in an international, IC, or U.S. Government specification.
  • Experience implementing software tools and associated processes for data governance and specification such as Collibra.
