About the position

The Senior Full Stack API Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing RESTful APIs to integrate with the Genesys Cloud platform. This role involves ensuring the APIs are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance, while also maintaining and enhancing existing API integrations. The developer will work closely with a team of 10 members, including architects, developers, and business analysts, and will collaborate with the operational team throughout the project. This position is primarily remote but may require minimal onsite responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs to integrate with the Genesys Cloud platform.
• Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.
• Maintain and enhance existing API integrations.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure API functionality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in RESTful API development.
• Experience with API security, including OAuth and JWT.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in .NET, C#, MVC, jQuery, AI, AWS, AZURE, Cloud services, REST, Angular, EF, and JavaScript.
• Working experience in Azure (AD Service, Azure Media Services, Translation Services, PaaS, IaaS, IoT) cloud-based services.
• 2+ years of experience in writing Proxys and services to interact with Genesys Cloud CX or any other modern Microservices based CCaaS solution.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.

Benefits

• Hourly rate of $70-$90/hour while on contract.
