About the position

Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team. This position is crucial for developing high-performing solutions for our government clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to understand complex systems and troubleshoot them to ensure high availability. The role requires a collaborative spirit, as you will work closely with a team in an Agile environment to design, develop, test, and integrate custom web applications that interface with RESTful services. You will be responsible for developing cloud-based web applications and ensuring they are scalable, secure, and cross-platform compatible. In this role, you will also be expected to resolve complex design, implementation, and performance issues while optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability. You will develop front-end applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Node.js and Angular. Additionally, you will support all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition to deployment and delivery to production. Your ability to consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements and areas for improvement will be essential for success in this position. To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or eight years of equivalent work experience. A minimum of seven years of hands-on front-end and back-end development experience is required, along with specific experience in Angular and Node.js. Familiarity with cloud application development, particularly AWS microservices, is preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with development teams and customers. This position is fully remote, with an in-person final interview required. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and able to pass a US Public Trust background investigation. Responsibilities

  • Understand complex systems and troubleshoot to ensure high availability.
  • Utilize Serverless Frameworks effectively in development.
  • Collaborate with team members in an Agile environment to build applications.
  • Design, develop, test, and integrate custom web applications interfacing with RESTful services.
  • Develop cloud-based web applications that are scalable and secure.
  • Interface with customer management and subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Resolve complex design, implementation, and performance issues.
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Develop front-end applications using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and frameworks like Node.js and Angular.
  • Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
  • Support all development and delivery activities from requirements definition to production deployment.
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or eight years of equivalent work experience.
  • At least seven years of recent hands-on front-end and back-end development experience using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript.
  • Two years of experience using Angular framework.
  • Four years of experience using an advanced programming language - Node.js.
  • Four years of web application, SOA, web service (SOAP or RESTful) development and deployment experience.
  • Hands-on experience with code and application deployment, including working knowledge of CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, RDS Aurora, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, and WAF.
  • Hands-on experience and working understanding of Serverless Framework.
  • Proficient in mock unit and integration testing.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience in developing innovative scalable, secure, cross-platform enterprise applications.
  • Experience in cloud application development, preferably AWS microservices.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships with development teams and customers.
  • Solid relational database experience with SQL programming, preferably PostgreSQL.
