About the position

Our Macquarie Capital Technology team has an opportunity for an innovative and dynamic Full-Stack Developer. This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to work closely with the business and the engineering team in envisioning, designing, and implementing ways to improve and enhance workflow and processes. You will be interacting with our business teams on a daily basis to solve both short term and long term workflow processes that they currently have. You will be driving change, not only as a technologist, but also as a holistic solutions provider, applying your engineering mindset to take user requests and transforming them into a set of automated tasks before compiling them into a framework.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and engineering teams to improve workflow and processes.
  • Interact with business teams daily to solve workflow challenges.
  • Apply engineering mindset to transform user requests into automated tasks.
  • Design and implement complex systems and microservices.
  • Drive change as a holistic solutions provider.

Requirements

  • Computer science or engineering background
  • 5+ years of Python development
  • Experience in implementing microservices
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems
  • Defensive coding techniques
  • Strong communication skills
