About the position

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer at Innovative Supply Solutions, you will lead the development and enhancement of the ISS Nexus platform, collaborating with various teams to design, develop, and maintain a complex web application that streamlines clinical trial management. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about software development and eager to drive innovation in a collaborative environment, directly impacting the efficiency and success of clinical trials for clients in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and therapeutics industries.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new features and applications of the Nexus platform.
• Write and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable code for both front-end and back-end components.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, including AI integration, and industry trends to continuously enhance the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address user requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Drive the implementation of best practices in software development, including DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Involved in building the Development Team as the Company grows.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience (7+ years).
• Extensive experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Strong proficiency with back-end technologies such as Python (preferred), Django (preferred), SQL (preferred) or similar, ideally with 5 or more years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of databases and experience with database management systems like MySQL (preferred), PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Advanced understanding of RESTful APIs and web services and system integrations.
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AI technologies and their applications in software development is highly desirable.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in leading full stack development projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS (preferred) and Azure.
• Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge or experience with AI technologies and their applications in software development.
