About the position

The Senior Full Stack PHP Engineer will play a crucial role in developing a fast and scalable platform for vulnerability management at a rapidly growing cyber security startup. This position involves working with modern PHP technologies and various frontend frameworks to create solutions that simplify vulnerability management for organizations of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern PHP and Zend Framework.
• Implement frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Work with relational databases and maintain applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies for project management and development.
• Troubleshoot technical issues effectively and efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members across different time zones.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of modern versions of PHP and Zend Framework.
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with various frontend frameworks.
• Experience working with relational databases, with SingleStore/MEMSQL as a bonus.
• Experience maintaining applications on Linux platforms in cloud environments.
• Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a remote team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with vulnerability scanning technologies (SCA, SAST, DAST, IAST, VM Scanning, Container, etc.).
• Experience with ExtJS.
• Experience in cloud environments, ideally AWS.
• Experience in data analytics and/or data science.
