About the position

The position is focused on client reporting and internal program analytics for care management products at CVS Health. The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop metrics, data structures, and analytics that drive impactful reporting and decision-making. It emphasizes the importance of both independent and collaborative work in a remote setting, particularly aligned with the eastern time zone.

Responsibilities

• Build detailed and summarized data structures within the reporting and analytics data layer to support the development of complex dashboards and reports.
• Work independently and collaboratively with data engineers, data scientists, data visualization teams, and subject matter experts to design backend database objects.
• Develop data pipelines from multiple platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years overall experience as a Google Cloud Data Engineer.
• 3+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL, including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics.
• Experience in data modeling to transform and prepare data for reporting and analytics.

Nice-to-haves

• At least 5 years of Google Cloud Data Engineering experience in health care, specifically in Care Management, PBM, or Claims.
• 5+ years of experience in BigQuery and SQL, including developing data structures to support reporting and analytics.
• Experience with Tableau is a plus.
• Prior experience in the data warehouse and analytics area is highly desirable.
• Prior experience mentoring or providing guidance to junior team members is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry standards, regulations, and data privacy concerns is highly desirable.
